TORCS - Alterar potência dos carros
Depois de algumas corridas com vários carros, podemos verificar que o melhor carro é o F1, em termos de segurança como em velocidade de ponta. No entanto, todos os carros estão limitados mas isso não é um problema, pois é possível alterar as suas capacidades. Apenas é preciso alterar as configurações que se encontram num ficheiro em formato .xml.

TORCS - Ficheiro para alterar a potência dos carros
Como já disse, é possível alterar as potência dos carros, além disso, podemos alterar todas as capacidades dos carros, tal como suspensões, jantes, pneus, etc...

Para começar, devemos abrir a pasta onde se encontram os carros: "C:\Program Files\torcs\cars".
Nessa pasta, encontram-se várias pastas com os nomes dos carros que se encontram disponíveis neste jogo. Em seguida, entramos na pasta com o nome do carro que queremos alterar.

Neste exemplo, vamos alterar o carro F1, a pasta chama-se "car1-ow1".
O ficheiro que queremos abrir chama-se "car1-ow1.xml", no entanto, como vamos trabalhar com um ficheiro no formato ".xml", devemos ter um editor para esse formato, senão, clica-mos no ficheiro com o botão direito do rato e clicamos em "abrir com...", e em "WordPad".

Pronto, depois de aberto já temos acesso a todas as configurações sobre esse carro.


TORCS - Como alterar os carros
Agora que já temos o ficheiro aberto devemos apagar tudo o que lá se encontra e inserir este codigo:

Nota: Todos os valores podem ser alterados, basta encontrar o que queremos alterar, ex: cilindrada, e alterar os valores.

Outra coisa que eu aconselho é mudar as velocidades de automático para manual, assim podemos ter maior controlo do carro sem precisar de travar.
